When can I place an order?

Do you ship outside the U.S.?
Yes. Canadian and International shipping charges are automatically calculated at checkout.
I’m having trouble logging in. What can I do?

All I want to do is to place an order. Do I need to join AQS?
No – you’re welcome to order as a Guest or as a Registered User without joining AQS. However, it pays to be a member of AQS because you’ll always receive a 20% discount!
What credit cards do you accept?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Your credit card will be charged at the time you complete your order, at which time you will receive an e-mail notification.
- Credit card billing address must match the billing address of the customer placing the order.
- Shipping/handling costs will be automatically calculated for you and will be shown in your "Shopping Cart," along with all discounts that may apply.
- Kentucky residents will be charged appropriate state/county sales tax.
- Credit Card accounts will be billed once all "check out" procedures are complete.

Merchandise orders for items held in your Wish List will be fulfilled at the current price at the time you place the order, subject to availability.
How do I enter a promo code for an online purchase?

Can I track the shipment of my order?
Yes, you will receive an e-mail after ordering that will include tracking information.
What’s the status of my order?
Registered users AND guest users will receive post-order e-mails regarding status and tracking information. Registered users will also be able to log in and see order status at any time.
Can I redeem a gift certificate purchased previously from AQS?
Yes, you can redeem a gift certificate by entering the certificate code when you checkout.
Are Gift Cards available?

What is your return policy?
We want you to love what you ordered. Let us know if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, and we’ll provide a replacement, account credit, or refund (minus shipping charges) when returned in unused condition. Can I trust that your fabric is high quality?
AQS takes great pride in the selection of ONLY top-notch fabrics for our catalog, online sales, and for special offers. We never offer anything less than premier-quality fabric, and it is always 100% cotton unless otherwise noted.
How wide is the average cut of fabric?
The fabric that we sell averages 42” – 44” wide.
I received my order. The color doesn’t look quite the same as it did online. Now what?
Occasionally the display on any computer monitor or other device offers colors a little differently than they appear in real life. We make every effort to portray our fabrics and other items with the greatest of color accuracy. If you are not satisfied, remember that we have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. How big is a fat quarter?
A fat quarter is a piece of fabric that measures 18” x 22”.
Why would I want a fat quarter?
A fat quarter offers more versatility than a regular quarter yard. You’ll be able to cut it into larger portions.
How do I launder 100% cotton fabric?
Cotton is durable and soft, but it does tend to shrink a bit due to the contraction of the natural fibers. You can moderate the shrinkage by washing in cold water, whether by machine or by hand. Line drying is also recommended. Many quilters wash 100% cotton fabric at a warm temperature and dry it in a dryer before they begin to cut it. Pre-shrinking in this way eliminates most of the shrinkage problem.
