- Yo-Yo Dolls and Doll Quilts — Review by Barbara Polston
- Every child needs their own Yo-Yo Doll! These dolls are advanced from the "string yo-yos together to create the arms and legs" kind. Patterns are provided to create a solid base that is then encased in yo-yos, offering a sturdier creation that will stand up to lots of love. It's wonderful that author Bobbie McClure Long has offered patterns for boy dolls as well...little boys need special friends too! Also included are patterns for a dog and a cat, perhaps to mimic the family pet. As if that wasn't enough, each doll gets their own miniature quilt pattern. Make these for your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews...or consider a charity project for the children in your local crisis nursery or homeless shelter. (Posted on 5/14/10)
