Review of Quilts of a Different Color — Review by Machine Quilting Unlimited
Overall Rating
Quilt first, add color later. This is the technique that Irena teaches in this very colorful, design-packed book. She walks you through the process of choosing a theme, gathering the materials, marking and quilting the project, using colored pencils and color application. Each chapter is loaded with clear, precise pictures and drawings, giving you the option to use her design motifs or to use them as a starting place for your own ideas. Irena includes eight projects and a gallery of her quilts, as well as those created by her students. If you’ve ever wanted to try a wholecloth quilt and work with lots of color at the same time, this book will lead the way. (Posted on 7/20/08)
