You'll love these delightful creations. — Review by Annette Mira-Bateman
Overall Rating
Here is another interesting book from Rami Kim.

This time it's 4 very cute dolls, Annie, Heidi, Jodi and Betty, firstly featuring in a lovely wall hanging (32 inches x 34 inches), then the 15 inch dolls themselves. You'll love these delightful creations.

The dolls are appliqued on blocks for the Friendship Quilt wall hanging with Twisted Log Cabin dresses, then tarted up with buttons, bows and butterflies.
The hair and other embellishments are all photographed and explained well. You'll be able to personalize your dolls as you wish.

The wall hanging is finished off with an appliqued house and garden panel down one side.

The other half of the book shows how to make these 4 dolls. The very detailed descriptions and photographs will show every step in the construction of Annie, Heidi, Jodi and Betty.

Rami's embellishment ideas will have you running for the button jar and ribbon box. The little girls in the family will be running for these delightful dolls and wall hanging when you've finished.

The world-wide friendship of quilters makes Rami wish "that all the quilters in this world will never get old and remain as young-at-heart as the four dolls in this book." (Posted on 6/6/16)

Rami is a master embellisher and has included many great ideas for embellishing the dolls in her latest book. There are instructions on making dolls as well as a doll quilt. Would be fun to make for all the little ones in your life or maybe even for your quilting friends. (Posted on 12/14/15)
