Personalize your presents! — Review by Patty
Overall Rating
This book shows you how to make gift bags to really personalize your presents, all without sewing. There are directions for making them in several different sizes, including a wine bag, and instructions on embellishing the bags. There are ideas for making gift tags as well. (Posted on 12/14/15)

Whether you’re the sort who thoughtfully plans gifts for giving, or there’s a child in your life who’s ready for a cut-and-fuse experience, “Bag It! No-Sew Fabric Gift Bags” is a book that offers options. From small to large bags - and even a wine bottle bag - to edge-trimmed or button-embellished bags, they’re all do-able, especially when time is short. With a couple pieces of fabric, fusible web, cardboard, grommets, and ribbon, you’ll be making bags as soon as you bring home this book. (Posted on 5/17/15)
Turn an ordinary gift into something special — Review by Patricia Mesker
Overall Rating
This book illustrates a fun, creative project that can help whittle down your fabric stash and turn an ordinary gift into something special. Teri’s no-sew gift bags are created with fat quarters or half yards of fabric, fusible web, ribbon and a variety of embellishments that you likely have on hand. Teri provides step-by-step instructions, with photographs, for creating four standard bag shapes, directions for constructing custom bags and a gallery of finished bags to inspire us. The charming no-sew bags will be a hit among your fellow quilters – and a perfect activity for guild meetings or retreats. (Posted on 5/13/15)
Fun project with easy to follow instructions — Review by Karen Yoshikawa

I was intrigued by the no-sew title of the book. I have sewn other bags before but I did not think of a non-sewn bag. Her step-by-step instructions and photos help to make sure you are following the process from start to finish. Once you make one bag then you want to make other size bags. It is fun to let everyone know you also made the bag when you give a gift. (Posted on 4/14/15)
Terrific idea — Review by Kathie
Overall Rating
Teri Henderson Tope has come up with a clever way to make fabric bags customized for any occasion or individual, without a stitch of sewing, although you could add some decorative stitching if you desired. Two pluses, recipients receive a handy bag to use for other purposes, and makers can use up fabric from their stash. (Posted on 3/14/15)
