Disappointed — Review by Karen

I had owned a cordless MayTag iron for 9 years & loved everything about it. I ordered the Panasonic because it was cordless. It was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. Everything sticks to the stainless steel plate so I use a tea towel now as a buffer. I also don't think this gets as hot. My expectations were to high & I was spoiled by the MayTag. I love cordless feature (Posted on 4/1/15)
Unreliable iron — Review by Nancy

I bought this iron and within 4 months was unable to turn it on due to a faulty on/off touch pad. Customer service was at times rude and never followed up. After multiple calls over about 6 weeks, I did get a refund. The iron did not stay hot long enough to suit my needs. (Posted on 9/15/14)

I had another model for several years, that developed a 'leak' - saw this one on sale and immediately got it. Smaller than my previous one, but, that's good for the sewing I do. Not good for ironing *large* pieces, though - I use my corded iron for big jobs. (Posted on 8/6/14)

I had the older Panasonic cordless and loved it...and just got this one and love it. I just used it to help teach Girl Scouts how to quilt. #1 safer because there is one less cord to trip on. and #2 safer because it HAS to be placed on the charger, no iron to tip over. LOVE IT! (Posted on 6/12/14)
