There was no pattern in my purchase — Review by Karen
Overall Rating
I saw this at a quilt show and loved it!!! BUT -- All you get for your ~$15 purchase (with shipping) is a large (full size) black and white picture of the piece and small color pictures with embellishment instructions. NO PATTERN! I have been spending hours tracing the individual pieces and it will take many more hours!
Evidently, these people have never seen a McKenna Ryan or Toni Whitney applique "pattern". They give you all the "pieces" ready to trace, and they group them according to fabric color for easy sorting and fusing.
I love the piece and will eventually be able to make it, but calling it a "pattern" and pricing it as such is a big SCAM!!!

P.S. I forgot to say it is just like ordering a pattern for an elaborate wedding gown and they send you a picture!
Regarding the numbering on the pieces: Many of the numbers have you putting down a piece, THEN a piece that goes UNDER it (because it has a higher number in the same set. That is just WRONG! McKenna Ryan and Toni Whitney would never do that! (Posted on 2/14/16)
Beautiful Appliqué Pattern! — Review by Patty Martin

Kathy McNeil is an internationally award-winning quilt artist who is known for making her quilts look like paintings. In the "New Blessings" pattern, she gives very detailed instructions, including suggestions on types of fabrics that will give each part of the pattern a more realistic feel, finishing touches such as embroidery, painting and pen shading that will add to the realism, as well as details on quilting and finishing the border.
