Great patterns for parties! — Review by Patty
Overall Rating
The author of this book is like me, more of a quilter than a cook. Several great ideas for a party, to use everyday in your own home, or to use as gifts. Several patterns for aprons, including child size aprons, a couple casserole carriers, oven mitt, place mats, napkins, table runner, coasters, mug rugs, wine cozies, decorative banner, and treat sacks. Great party ideas for kids — Review by Kathie
Overall Rating
While the book covers a variety of items to make for celebrations, notably aprons, my favorite creations were the monsters and banners. I enjoyed reading how Tope made the monsters for treat sacks for her grandson and could imagine how great these treat sacks would be for kids of all ages. The banners would work well, too, for a variety of ages and occasions, lending a true party atmosphere. (Posted on 5/22/14)
