Modern Quilts & More by Kimberly Einmo — Review by James A. Cox, Midwest Book Review
Overall Rating
Modern Quilts & More pairs a gallery of over a dozen original quilt designs with sections outlining easy projects and skill-building approaches to using these design ideas in one’s own efforts, making for a delightful approach that will appeal to newcomers to Einmo’s style as well as those fans who appreciate her attention to detail and step-by-step approach to recreating contemporary designs. It’s all about patterns, color choices, design and options: in this, Einmo excels, and succeeds in passing along her excitement to all levels of quilters. James A. Great combination of quilt top and quilting design — Review by Kathie
Overall Rating
I loved this book. Lively, eye-catching quilt patterns accompanied by outstanding quilting designs. Einmo clearly chose her quilters with care. It is evident they gave great thought to their quilting and what would highlight the piecing and/or appliqué. Good example of wonderful collaborations. I plan to refer to this book for quilting design inspiration. (Posted on 6/5/14)
